Under the guidance and supervision of the Americas Master Data Management Lead, this position will be responsible for maintenance and analysis of Infor LN ERP master data. The responsibilities involve master data maintenance including timely setup and updates, analyzing and documenting master data processes and business requirements, and collaborating with different stakeholders across departments and geographies to consolidate and curate master data. The role will be involved in facilitating ERP standardization across the region, and partner with multiple functions to analyze and document MDM standards and governance processes. Close collaboration with the e-commerce and EDI business is instrumental to maintain customer account activity and data integrity across platforms.
You will handle the daily business process for setting up and maintaining various master data elements. This role will also own driving improvements to our process by (1) refining existing workflow process to partner with other staff members and functions that provide the necessary data, (2) developing, documenting, and refining work instructions for the input and maintenance of all master data, and (3) performing compliance verification for the established procedures.The ability to meet deadlines and flexibility in handling changing priorities are essential to be successful in this position.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Liaison for e-commerce website support, troubleshooting data quality issues and ensuring timely customer account creation.
• Onboarding of new Customer cross-reference data to support EDI daily operations
• Participate in data cleansing and testing for EDI expansion implementations
• Develop/improve/modify the Master Data Management (MDM) processes to utilize data to achieve exceptional growth through data standardization and information management across multiple functional units of the business.
• Create and maintain specific master data elements in ERP system to facilitate smooth and accurate transaction flow.
• Responsible for the accuracy of ERP system data through process evaluation and conducting regular audits. Identify and implement corrective measures for data or process errors based on audit results and process evaluations.
• Onboarding of new Customer cross-reference data to support EDI daily operations
• Demonstrate effective and collaborative communication with internal team members and Business Partners.
• Works within the business to ensure the accuracy and integrity of master data elements including the ability to timely troubleshoot any data issues.
• Creates and updates master data training documents, working instructions, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), business process and changes as required and communicates these changes to the business functional units as needed.
• Ensure the smooth transition from and co-existence with legacy and non-ERP systems by participating as Master Data project support during training, Go Live and HyperCare activities.Technical/Core Competencies
- Knowledge of industry practices, standards, and Master Data components with business system impacts.
• Thorough systems expertise in ERP applications, preferably Infor LN.
• High degree of initiative and ownership, as well as a proven history of delivering results while working with several different departments in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Cross-functional business knowledge (Supply Chain/Production/Finance/Sales).
• Ability to partner with internal and external stakeholders/Customers to source the required master data.
• Hands-on experience leading data definitions development, data quality improvements, data model updates, and troubleshooting efforts of the analytics projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Extensively used Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and MS Office products for Data Analysis, Business process modeling, Requirement/issues documentation.Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Manufacturing or related field
